Seminar invitation
Helping you recruit international students with the right level of English
You are invited to join us and other colleagues in the UK higher education sector for a networking lunch, seminar and discussion followed by a drinks reception.
Ensuring candidates have the right English skills is vital to all HE institutions seeking to raise their international profile and attract overseas students.
Cambridge ESOL leads the field in providing fair, accurate and reliable English assessment for academic purposes. Earlier this year we hosted a seminar that examined international student admission in depth. In response to the success of this event, we are offering higher education professionals across the UK the chance to take part in similar seminars.
Topics covered will include:
- What higher education institutions should look for in English language exams and how we can help you to recruit students with the linguistic skills to live and study in the UK.
- How Cambridge English exams meet the needs of higher education and how they compare with other English language qualifications.
- UCAS Tariff points for Cambridge English: Advanced and Proficiency
- Security and ensuring the integrity of candidates’ results (including a demonstration of our new Online Results Verification service).
- Consultation – an opportunity for open discussion about the issues involved in international student recruitment and how Cambridge ESOL can help you.
The seminars will be taking place in the following cities:
